Representing the Architectural Technology discipline internationally, the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) represents over 9,500 members. As the lead body in the discipline, for the past 50 years, CIAT qualifies and represents all those studying and practicing Architectural Technology. Chartered Architectural Technologists MCIAT, a protected descriptor, are qualified and recognised to lead projects from design inception through to final completion. Many hold senior positions within the industry and lead teams within the built environment sector and working within their own architectural practices. Chartered Architectural Technologists apply the science of architecture and specialise in the technology of building design and construction.
